About Us!

We are Bruce and Verna Simpson, a retired couple with an adventurous spirit. Three years ago, we made the decision to sell the home where we raised our children and lived for 34 years. Transitioning to full-time living in our 44’ Momentum 399TH RV, lovingly named 'Molly', has allowed us to cherish the freedom of a nomadic lifestyle. Our time has been split between Vancouver Island during the winter months and the Shuswap region throughout the rest of the year.

The passing of our beloved dog, Trigger, as we entered the third year of retirement, profoundly impacted us. This pivotal moment prompted us to recognize the preciousness of life and the importance of embracing new experiences. With an unwavering passion for exploration and a zest for life, we felt compelled to embark on new adventures and unveil the wonders of the world. This decision marked the beginning of the next phase of our journey together; it was like pressing a “GO” button and venturing into the unknown.

Our commitment to sharing the essence of our travels led us to aptly name our voyages Frontline Odyssey. We are eager to invite you to join us on this remarkable journey and hope you will find joy in our shared experiences.

It has been very exciting getting ready for our trip to Southeast Asia; however, there has also been a huge learning curve. We wanted to share our adventure with family and friends, so we are going to use this website to share stories and pictures. Hopefully, we will learn how to add pages to this site so that they look good while having fun along the way. I am a proponent of lifelong learning, so I jumped right into exploring how to set up a website. Although there is a plethora of websites to choose from, I wanted to start simple and chose Blogger. There has definitely been challenges along the way, but I persevered and voilà we have a place to share our journey.
